CHAISE LOUNGE

I am still undecided about the daybed for the family room.  I am considering these and these.  I am now also looking into chaise lounges.

{This is pretty cool.  I would add cushion though for comfort}

This is where I plan on putting it...

{replacing the settee}

Thoughts?

My first thought is: are you selling the settee??? cause if you are, i want it.

My second thought is: I love that indian chaise and think it would add a really eclectic, world traveller vibe to the space. I know you'll come up with something amazing for the cushion...

Since it'll be in the middle of the room, which I love, I think either a daybed or a chaise like the mayfair would work well. Although, the one from India is pretty freakin awesome. And I'm with Meg, I love your settee - maybe she and I could share it. :)

I love the first chaise. What a tough decision, plus ( this is why I relate to you!) we have to keep budget in mind, so not an easy choice at all. I agree a chaise or daybed will look perfect. I think the simpler lines are best. Maybe one day you'll wake up and bam, it will come to you like a lightning bolt and you'll just know.
Let me know if that ever happens.

I've always loved a chaise (that Bliss chaise is gorgeous!).

I think either a chaise or a daybed would look great in the space, but a daybed might be more practical. Because it's open on all sides, it can be moved around more easily if you decide to change things up, whereas a chaise is a bit more limited because of its design.

Both pieces are gorgeous. It is a shame you cannot keep both. I am a fan of any cane work and the chaise is stunning with the metal (?) work on it.

Holy cow, as I am leaving this comment, I am noticing the pagoda chandelier....I have the same one!! OK, back to this room. I love all the natural light that you have. The chaise is a fantastic idea. Personally, I love the one from India...with a cushion.

Your settee is a great piece, but I think you need a beefier piece there. I love the idea of a daybed, so versatile and pretty from every direction. Love the upholstered selections in your post. Good luck!

I want to curl up and take a nap on the Bliss chaise, but I think your settee looks awesome too.
