INEXPENSIVE FLOWERS

There are 2 flowers I buy regularly.

First, the Gladiolus (aka Glads).

They are elegant and dramatic! I got this bunch for $2.99!

Second, the Alstroemeria (aka Peruvian Lily)

$4!

Not only are they inexpensive, but they are pretty and long lasting too!

What's your favorite flower to decorate with?

Tulips, although really anything I can get at Trader Joe's. :) They always have a great selection for cheap cheap cheap.

awww love this post - dont you just love that quote somewhere in the blogosphere about rather having fresh flowers in your home than diamonds on your neck? ok...maybe thats A BIT of an exaggeration, BUT so true. I second Elizabeth, anything from Trader Joes!!

I love fresh flowers! my favorite is obviously orchids, since in our area flowers come a bit steep in their price range. Orchids last long and don't really need a lot of care. I also love, love hydrangeas. Unfortunately, since Im no gardener, the few ones I have are the plastic variety... :-) Love your arrangements dear.

I love hydrangeas and peonies but you got me thinking about glads now. Your white ones look beautiful!

Love the Glads. Peonies are my favorite but hard to find and expensive. Lilly's make me sneeze :)

I love tulips and peonies but they can be quite expensive so for my own home, I have orchids. They are low maintenance and affordable. Your flowers look beautiful, by the way!

Have a good week!

I often buy those tiny roses at Trader Joes for 5.99. They last a pretty long time!

I couldn't agree more. They are always so affordable, but allow you to have pretty fresh flowers in the house.

Cute house tour over on Apartment Therapy!
