TUDOR HOUSES WITH PAINTED FRONT DOORS

I love painted front doors.  It gives the house personality.  Having a Tudor-style house, I always thought brown is the way to go.  Until...

Do you have a colored front door?

Have a great weekend!

I don't just plain white with glass - need to replace it bad, but doors are way expensive! I wish I could paint it but with the design mine has, it will look really ugly. What are you planning to color yours?

Right now, my front door is hunter green - which looks terrible with the red brick. I'm usually a fan of colourful front doors but we're painting ours in a charcoal grey. We are for sure painting both the outside and the inside of the door though. I love the contrast that brings to a light foyer.
What colour are you thinking of painting it?

A black front door now, but I've had red and green in the past. Love all the houses you showed!

Beautiful houses. I love Tudors! (My front door is kind of a cinnamon color. I painted it myself!)

I'm dying of suspense over your news! Have a great weekend!

I love painted front doors. They make a statement I think about how creative or boring the people are who live there! Hope you're having a good weekend, Charmaine.

I have a bold yellow door. I'm actually seriously considering changing it to a pretty peacock blue.

I know this is an old post but I just came across it. So you live in a Tudor? I do too and find it really hard to make the outside look fun. I want Barrie Benson's front door......I will have it one day. - Brandy
