ORC LINKING PARTICIPANT, ROUND 2, THE REVEAL

Thank you for joining me for the final reveal of the One Room Challenge Linking Party!
It's been a quick six weeks and up until yesterday, I was hustling to get the room(s) done.  I apologize in advance for the subpar photos as the rooms were difficult to photograph and yesterday's weather was not on my side either.

Anyway, I'm just happy I finished and that the girl's can finally enjoy their rooms.

I started out with this moodboard...

and ended with this...

I can't believe i went with the Ikea dresser over the vintage Henredon.  I felt I had to add a newer piece to all the vintage pieces in this room.  (Plus, the 9 y/o prefers this one.)
I can't tell you how difficult it was to compromise with a pre-teen!

and my moodboard for the opposite wall...

and now...

As you may remember, Sabrina's old room is off of this room separated by a closet...

It is now the computer/study/hangout room...

(I kept the existing wall treatment and just covered the entire wall with the kids' work and vintage art pieces I already had.)

(I moved one of the chrome tufted chairs from my basement office into this room)

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of these rooms. Bright, Cheery and Fun like any kids room should be (IMO).
As always, I used mostly vintage pieces and stuff I already owned.

The faux sheepskin rugs are from Home Decorators and the venetian mirror from Amazon.

Again thank you all for following along and of course to Linda for hosting another successful ORC!

Cheers to us all!

Nice job. I am particularly curious about your vintage starburst mirror hanging on the wall behind the computer. I have an identical mirror that I recently found at a flea market. Do you have any background on this? Age? Rarity? Vaue?
