FOYER UPDATE

Remember the original moodboard for the foyer?

Except for the black and white checkered floors, everything I chose didn't work out

entryway
The settee is too big...

The size of the mirror is off...

 I think the lantern chandelier works...

and I'm still undecided on this wallpaper for the above wall...

I still want to incorporate a touch of green in the space and maybe a modern element.

A green modern chair?

{a green panton or eames chair?}

or I can just paint this chair green and recover the seat white...

{and paint this mirror from the family room black}

I need help!

I wish you all a Happy Easter weekend!

i like the idea of painting that chair kelly green to bring in a pop of color. i also think it keeps the area from looking all mid century.

Oh I am SO sorry - I hate when that happens - when you pick things and they don't work.

Ideas? What about a thinner/smaller profile bench, like one from Grandin Road or one of those places that has a great design, even Chippendale look to the back. In black! And then for the foyer light, the one you have there works fine. But if you wanted that updated punch of modern like you had with the Sputnik light, I have this brass polyhedron RL light that I cannot find a place for in my house. I've tried and tried and I have no where for it. I can send you a pic. But I like the pop of Kelly Green... maybe Green pillows or something on the bench?

ANyhow - good luck to you my friend. Hope this wasnt unsolicited ideas/advice!

I like the idea of a smaller bench type seating or perhaps a sofa table type table? Love the idea of the mirror on the back wall. And yes, the pop of green will be great

I still love the wallpaper. I think it would look great. And I'm with Bethany, I think a bench would work really well in there. And in kelly green, so fab!

what if you do a console table with two green stools/benches underneath?

and then do a bench to the left of front door?

I like the idea of a fairly all and thin console table with a couple of lamps (green?) and flowers to add a bit of drama? Also love the large mirror on the opposite wall!

OMG you have so many great chairs! I like the idea of having a splash of green in the chair. I just can't get enough of that blk/white tile. I think I would just stare at it all day if it were in my home. Ha!

What about a painted green chest with a brass lamp? The floors are fantastic!
