ROYAL BLUE FABRIC?

We're back!  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend.  We had a great time with Mark's family on the East coast.

Anyway,  I am on the hunt for a royal blue fabric(for my other sister) to recover 2 ottomans.  She sent me this picture...

She is going for a resort and laid back look (like the light fixture).  The black legs of the ottomans are going to be stripped to natural wood. (Her dining table is going to be painted yellow!)  She found the above fabric but they are too expensive and she needs 8 yards!

She is also considering this fabric...
Like my younger sister,  she lives in the Philippines and I am trying to search for better alternatives for her here.

What do you think?  Do you have any royal blue fabric recommendations for me?

  1. Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Charmain! Lovin' your sisters home? Is this a house? Huge! I can't wait to see it all. Is it styled like your parents home? I love that one too. Anyway, I am loving the links indgo fabric over at tonic living (http://tonicliving.com/productsDetails.asp?categoryid=27&productid=2468&currentpage=1&onsale=0)

But then again, it will also depend on the yellow fabric she'll be choosing in her room right?

    Have a nice day!

  2. I think Premier Fabric has some bright blue options. You can check them out here:

They are about $13/yd. Not too bad. Can't wait to see what you choose!

  4. what a beautiful Thanksgiving table you had! If I come across an inexpensive option for a blue fabric I will let you know. I will keep an eye out. Is linen out of the question? Gray linens has beautiful fabrics and are nicely priced.

  6. Don't know of a particular fabric but when Fabric.com doesn't have what I want I try housefabric.com. They are organized by color too.
