CRAIGSLIST MONDAY: MY FINDS (*UPDATED)

*This is a repost but I've added some of my recent finds.  It is amazing to me how much I've purchased from Craigslist! (And this is not even including all my thrift/estate sale/flea market finds).

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  I finished  reading I Brake for Yard Sales!
I enjoyed all the before and  after photos and I liked seeing how Lara incorporated all her finds in her and other people's homes.

I thought it would be nice to put most of my craigslist finds into one post and show you how I incorporated my finds into our home...

  13. Hi, I'm new here, but you inspire me endlessly. I'm a cragslist junkie myself and many of my favorite items in our house were found on craigslist. My recent find is a leather chesterfield sofa in pristine condition for only $475! Can't get enough of craig. I'm drooling all over your new chrome dining chairs - those are hard to come by! Great post :)

  20. In my area, Washington D.C there are estate sales every weekend and that's where I go for my "stuff". Some of them start on Thursday and I rush off for an hour of predatory behavior. Some of the sales are in multi million dollar houses and the things re discounted from day to day. Get there on Sunday and it's half off. I like finding beautiful linens or leather bound books. People are not buying those things nowadays so the field is uncrowded, hard back books are around $2. I can afford it and they are glad to get rid of it. Everyone is happy.

You have done a spectacular job with your finds. The objects are of design quality and you have arranged them in appropriate and beautiful ways. Keep up the good work.
