CRAIGSLIST MONDAY: DINING ROOM TABLE

If there's something I've learned from shopping CL, it's that the right piece will eventually show up.  You just have to be patient.

This is going to be my plan for finding the perfect dining table.
I only have two requirements...  solid natural wood table and it has to have leaves.
(and the right price, of course!)

Here are some contenders...

Solid oak dining table

solid wood dining table

1930's dining table

Century dining table

Drexel dining table

Thomasville Dining table

Modern dining table with built-in leaves

I seriously think any of these would work with my chairs...

Which one is your favorite?

Happy Monday!

  2. That last one looks most like what you were initially looking for and seems really unique. That said, I love the Century Chin Hua one too, of course, because I love a little Asian style. Oh, decisions are hard.

  4. we're on the same page!!! except i am tableless until said score comes along. be glad you're not set on round...SO hard to find!

so many of these are gorge! my one piece of advice -- because i just gave up a 1920s trestle table with that little square and the angled pieces cutting to it underneath -- be sure you can push your chairs all the way in before you buy! ours stuck out and it drove me NUTS. hence, its departure.

i love the century with the burl top! can't wait to see what you land on!

  10. My heart naturally beats to the century one. Although my heart was set on a round table for a our dining room your post inspired my to open options and I scored a Milo Baughman table from the Baltimore area last night. I'm not sure how to attach photos so, I'll email it to you directly.

    The best,
    Andee
