PLAYHOUSE UNDER THE STAIRS

I fell in love with this playhouse ever since I saw it on  Apartment Therapy more than a year ago...

{So cute!}

Thanks to the previous owner of our house, we have the perfect spot for a playhouse in the basement...


{I actually started this project after the AT post years ago. I painted the door yellow, added the house number and the peephole.

The inside still needs a lot of work though...

    the door is adorable! can't wait to see what you do- i just did my own project under the stairs! i made my daughter a small craft area though, since it's really too small for two people- even little people!

    OMG!!! How super cute and how fun!! the perfect project. We actually have a nook similar to that and I transofrmed it into my daughter's mini library....she has her small wingback chair and wood biolt in bookshelves....with a desk and everything!! kids love little nooks

    We have a closet under our basement stairs but unfortunately, I think our kids are too big for an adorable little playhouse. Love this idea and can't wait to see yours come to fruition!

    I thought Bethany would have commented here! She had a playhouse under the stairs accessed through our garage in our last house. It was totally hers to decorate. She painted it watermelon pink, put a christmas tree in it and it was her special secret hideout. This is a fabulous idea, especially indoors, with a darling door.
