TABLE WITH COLORED METAL BASE

When I got my pinechoke lamp from the ReStore,  I saw this table and immediately thought that this would look great painted.  - Lacquered top with painted metal base.

Cases in point...

Ok, the ReStore one is probably not as modern looking as the rest but do you see the potential?

We plan to go apple and pumpkin picking this weekend.  Hopefully I'll get my fall/ halloween decor out as well.
Have a great weekend everyone!

  2. I really like that table. I like the wood top though, but a fun color on the base would be great. Have fun with the fall activities! The leaves are starting to change here.

  5. Ooopsie ignore the first comment, that is a restuarant in Atlanta.... get the base powder coated!!! I take everything metal i can to my powder coater. i can email you pics if you want. The finish is soooo much more glossy and durable. You know the colored canopy beds featured on Chinoiserie Chic? just sent my dated metal canopy bed to be powder coated glossy candy apple turquise for $250. Im sure you can find a local powder coater on Craigslist. most of them are independant shop owners. Google images and you will be amazed at the color selection, a rainbow!

  7. I agree. It would be very cool painted. By the way, I just saw that very table at Target the other day and loved it and snapped a photo. Then I pinned it off their website. Very Platner-esque!

  14. So funny to see on your blog...I snagged that table myself a few weeks ago! Didn't paint it though, just refinished the top. It's gorgeous and looks great with my Bertoia chairs!
